Family Holiday

In general: I have to say we had a great Holiday overall ,the Villa was spacious however a little dated apart from the main television in the lounge and the seating in this area, and could do with the walls and ceilings painting throughout the property, in addition the carpets throughout could do with cleaning as these look much brighter a fresher from photo's on any of the websites, the villa is spacious and easily sleeps 8 adults which cannot be faulted and all of the bedrooms are spacious and has plenty of storage, the villa as stated on the website is close enough to Disney Parks, supermarkets & restaurants etc which was excellent, the Pool Area was Ok however looks much bigger on the website photo's, the seat cushions for the pool area were not very clean we cleaned these as they were covered in flys and some marks, I also had to clean the patio area as there was some grease etc which I had slipped on, the outside area also needs a coat of paint to brighten this area up. The arrival package what the owner sent stipulated most things prior to arrival however needs updating ie how to enter the property on arrival, the arrival package states just to enter your security number provided, but this did not work, you actually have to press the PADLOCK SYMBOL and the enter your security number you can then open the door, this is important I think when you are arriving late at night we worked this out for ourselves without contacting anyone, there are a few other issues that I cleared with the owner prior to arrival which were incorrect. However on arrival we faced some of the items below and the management team who looks after the property or the owner should have prevented these issues if they truly believe customer satisfaction and not just preached this, however this did not spoil our Holiday we had a great time, however some of the actions taken by the owner that I was entitled to was disgraceful, I have been to Orlando 5 times and stayed in Villas every time and I have to say this was the worst service I have received on arrival and after departure, all of the items stated below are fact I have not made anything up regarding this review and would definitely not recommend this villa based really on the preparation of the property on arrival as indicated below and the actions of the owner taken after the Holiday. Faced on Arrival 1.COCK ROACHES IN THE HOUSE ! WHICH I SENT YOU A PHOTO OFF (Photo Taken) 2.NO POOL HEATING WHICH WAS ADDITIONAL COST WHICH THE OWNER SAID SHE HAD ARRANGED AND JUST BECAUSE SHE HAD GIVEN ME A DISCOUNT ON THE POOL HEATING SHE WOULD NOT REFUND ME THE MONEY FOR THE 2 DAYS WE HAD NO POOL HEATING. 3. THE MANAGEMENT TEAM THEN HAD TO COME BACK AND TURN THE POOL HEATING UP AS IT WAS STILL COLD ON THE 2ND OCTOBER WE ARRIVED ON THE 28th SEPT !! 4.NO POOL LIGHTS UNTIL 30TH SEPTEMBER / 1ST OCTOBER 5.NO ELECTRIC IN THE MAIN BATHROOM & MIDDLE BEDROOM (Repaired day after) 4.TELEVISION NOT WORKING IN THE MIDDLE BEDROOM (Repaired day after) 6.DOOR HANDLE COMING OFF THE PATIO LEADING TO THE POOL AREA WHICH HAD TO BE SECURED BACK ON BY THE MANAGEMENT TEAM (Repaired day after) 7.NO PORCH LIGHT WORKING ON ARRIVAL AND STILL WAS NOT WORKING WHEN WE LEFT 8.TOILET SEAT BROKEN ON ARRIVAL WHICH THE MANGER SAID SHE HAD NOT NOTICED THIS ! 9.WATER LEAK FROM THE QUEEN BEDROOM INTO THE LOUNGE AREA THIS HAD NOT JUST OCCURRED THIS HAD BEEN THERE FOR A LONG TIME THE PAINT WAS COMING OFF THE CEILING AND YOU COULD SEE WHERE THIS HAD BEEN PAINTED OVER BEFORE (Photo's Taken) 10.THERE WERE FLYS IN THE POOL EVERY DAY FROM WHERE THE PROTECTIVE NETTING WAS COMING AWAY FROM THE FRAME PLUS SMALL HOLES WHICH I CLEANED OUT WITH THE POOL NET (Photo's Taken) 11.THE TREES AROUND THE POOL AREA WERE CUT AND ALL OF THE RUBBISH WAS LEFT AND ABOUT 4/5 BAGS OF TREE CUTTING WERE NOT REMOVED THESE WERE STILL THERE WHEN WE LEFT (Photo's Taken)
